**Vision of the Swimming Unit**

To achieve leadership and excellence in providing sports, training, and community services in the field of swimming. This includes promoting a culture of sports, enhancing fitness and public health, qualifying specialized personnel, and strengthening the role of the Faculty of Sports Sciences (for Women) at Zagazig University in serving the community and developing the environment.

 

**Mission of the Swimming Unit**

The Swimming Unit is committed to offering comprehensive programs and services for swimming instruction and training across all age groups. It organizes specialized training and qualification courses and contributes to the development of qualified sports professionals. The unit provides a safe and exceptional environment for aquatic activities, meeting the needs of the community and fostering partnerships between the Faculty and various societal institutions, all in accordance with standards of quality and excellence.

 

The Swimming Unit at the College of Physical Education for Girls - Zagazig University aspires to be one of the units of the college’s character with a prominent position in the field of swimming, ensuring high competitive capabilities that make it appreciated by the college, university and society.

The mission of the unit is determined to be able to provide educational and research services, sports, recreational and therapeutic activities, and targeted training courses of quality that achieve the satisfaction of the beneficiaries, whether on the internal or external community of the Sharkia Governorate.

 

Unit objectives

 

Serving the people of the governorate, including females of all ages, and boys from 4 to 15 years old.

Practical training for students of the College of Physical Education for girls.

 Providing the teams of different colleges in universities the opportunity to practice types of water sports for women.

The unit is equipped for holding important conferences and meetings.
